John Joseph Rendzia, Jr., of Norfolk, Virginia, pled guilty to embezzlement and conversion of an airline passenger’s laptop computer that came into Rendzia’s possession in the execution of his office as a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He was sentenced to two years of probation.

Paul Alonzo Ewing, of Portsmouth,Virginia pled guilty to three counts of possession of child pornography. At the time of the seizure of evidence against him, Ewing was a police officer with the Portsmouth Police Department.

Damian Prescott, of Amesbury, Massachusetts, a former employee of Salisbury, Massachusetts-based Data Resource Group, pled guilty in San Jose, California to defrauding Cisco Systems Inc. of computer networking equipment through Cisco’s SMARTnet warranty program.

Nadia Ali Haider and her husband, Abdul Hakim Musaed, who ran a store in New Haven, Connecticut, were each sentenced for defrauding the federal Food Stamp Program.

Charles D. Citta, of Rockport, Indiana, was sentenced to five years in prison following his guilty plea to receipt and possession of child pornography.

Harriette Monica Walters, of Washington, D.C., was sentenced in federal court to 17 years, six months of incarceration for her 18-year-long, $48 million fraud scheme at the District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue. Walters is the last of 11 defendants in this scheme to be sentenced.

Stanley Foote, of Newark, New Jersey, a ranking member of the Nine-Three set of the Bloods street gang, was sentenced to 27 years in federal prison for an armed home-invasion robbery in which a family was held hostage.
